New Year, New Resolutions

Supplies used: Patterned Paper: Webster's Pages, Jenni Bowlin; Flower: Prima; Vintage Flower tag, Vintage Scrapbooking (free download); Sticker sentiment: Class Appeals; Pins: Maya Road; Lace: craft supply

When I signed on to this blog today, I knew that I had neglected it for quite some time, but when I saw that it has been since October, I knew that this is one thing I need to pay more attention to. I really enjoy blogging and posting my crafts, but I realized what my barrier was. It was the picture taking and editing that was making me not want to do it. You see, in MN, in the winter, I leave before it is light out and return after it gets dark. So then it leaves the weekends for doing this in broad daylight. And everyone knows how busy Saturdays and Sundays are when you are a fulltime RN and mom. So I am going to cut myself some slack and just try and post as much as I can.

That being said, Happy New Year everyone. I have some great things to put up today. I have been in card making mode for some time. I love making cards and realized this last week that my card stash at work has dwindled and I needed to add some goodies to that stash!

Supplies used: Patterned Paper: American Crafts; Stickers: Recollections by Michaels, Class Appeals

I just LOVE this line from American Crafts. It is adorable...surely it is the teal and red pink and the gorgeous flowers and the lace doily hearts that make me so happy! And the craft paper, well it makes for some pretty fun cards!

So that is my first post of 2011. Hopefully many more. Thanks for stopping by! Love and Hugs! Lara

Welcome back :-) Beautiful cards. I know what you mean about the taking pics. My room is in the basement and in the winter I have to take photos with my Ott light. Would much rather bet outside!

Well, I've been checking regularly and I'm glad that you have posted so many GLORIOUS cards. I utterly and completely understand you! All due dates for assignments are on weekends, coz, if I don't it photographed on the weekend, there will be NO photographing it, lol. xxoo Happy 2011!!!!
